Working principle
The measured pressure is converted into a capacitive variable by a capacitive sensitive element, and directly converted into a digital signal through an A/D circuit. After conversion, the digital signal is sent to the microprocessor, and the corrected digital signal is then converted into a 4-20mADC output signal through D/A conversion and sent to display/regulating instruments or DCS devices. The communication line converts the measured pressure digital signal from the maintenance processor into a frequency signal and superimposes it on a 4-20mADC analog signal, which is received by the corresponding HART terminal device.

·High stability and reliability
The highly sensitive pressure sensitive components are designed with full sealing, stress isolation structure, and overvoltage self-protection to ensure the stability and reliability of the sensitive components.
·Automatic compensation function
The correction coefficients for pressure and temperature characteristics stored in EEPROM are used for linear and temperature automatic compensation by the main control unit microprocessor, enabling the 3151 transmitter to have high accuracy and minimal temperature impact.
·Digital communication, data storage
HART handheld communication enables remote setting, detection, and diagnosis. And the pre-set configuration data is stored in the non-volatile EEPROM of the circuit board, and these data will not be lost after power failure. Re powering the transmitter can immediately restore operation.
·Five digit LCD output display
The five digit LCD indicator can display digital readings of measured pressure (including engineering units such as kpa, kgf/c ㎡, mbar, mmH2O, etc.), percentage of range (%), and output current (mA).
·Configuration protection
To avoid arbitrary changes to the configuration data of the transmitter, the stored data can be locked by a protective switch.
·Local zero point and range adjustment
The S and Z buttons of the main control unit are used by users to adjust the zero point and range of the transmitter without a configuration device.
·Explosion proof mark
The explosion-proof types of this instrument include intrinsic safety type (Ex ia Ⅱ C T5) and explosion-proof type (Ex d Ⅱ C T5), both of which have been certified according to national explosion-proof standards.
·Strong interchangeability of components
Regardless of the range and output form, flanges, connectors, electrical enclosures, display heads, end caps, and mounting brackets can all be interchanged, and smart circuit boards can also be interchanged. After replacing the electronic version, zero and range settings need to be reset. Sensors can also be interchanged and the measurement range can be changed by replacing the sensor, but recalibration is also required after replacement.

FUNCTION
Users can use the 3151 configuration software and HARTmodem provided by Xiyi to perform testing, configuration, and fine-tuning in computer classes. Users can also use a HART communicator to implement software functions.
·Testing
The 3151 transmitter can perform continuous self testing during operation. If you want to test the 4-20mADC circuit, you can set the transmitter to constant current output mode.
The set data includes: 4-20mA points, engineering units, damping time, output mode (linear or square root), and relevant management information.
·Self diagnosis
The diagnostic content includes: sensitive component faults, A/D conversion faults, memory faults, and communication errors.
